It's cold and rainy in San Antonio.  A perfect night to curl up with your best friend and read a good book.

My Michael

Today we celebrated Michael's birthday.  Oh how I love my Jellybean!  {I have called him Jellybean since before he was born.  I craved red jellybeans..a lot :)} He of course asked for several gifts...mostly soccer related.  I, being the mom that I am, had to also give a gift that I hope would make him feel my love for him.  I chose this book Wherever You Are..My love will find you...  It says exactly what I want Michael and his brothers to always remember.  That no matter where they go, I will always love them.  The entire book tells of the kind of love only a parent could understand.  A love that is unwavering and constant. I hope Michael will read this book when he is lonely and needs to feel loved.  I hope he knows no matter what is going in his life I will always love him and be here for him.

"So hold your head high
and don't be afraid
to march to the front
of your own parade.

If you're still my small babe
or you're all the way grown,
my promise to you
is you're never alone."

DDP #2 - Christmas in Texas

These boots are iconic here in San Antonio.  They are especially festive at this time of the year.

December Photo Project-Day 1

Sure sign of Christmas around here is Obi wearing his Christmas sweaters.

How cute is he?  The boys tell me he hates his sweaters.  I'm convinced he's confident enough to pull it off.
